Working with Us.
Experienced Traders
Experienced traders with a demonstrable live track record apply directly via the Experienced Trader application. We review every submission. Traders who meet our threshold are brought in for a direct conversation about allocation, risk parameters and how a long-term arrangement with Positive works.
We look for an average monthly net P&L of €5,000 or above across the past 12 months, verified through a track record submission. Below that level, the right starting point is the Trainee Trader Analyst Programme — which is a full-time paid position in its own right.
Experienced traders at Positive receive firm capital, ongoing risk management oversight, mentorship from senior traders and full access to our infrastructure — data feeds, platforms, connectivity and the trading floor. 95% of traders who reach experienced level at Positive stay in their career.
Every role at Positive Equity — from Trainee Trader Analyst through to Experienced Trader — is a full-time, professional position. This is a career, not a part-time engagement.
Internship & Trainee Analyst
The Summer Internship runs in June and August. It is the entry point to Positive Equity — a structured, paid introduction to futures markets, risk management and life on the trading floor. Completing the internship is the mandatory first step toward joining the full-time Trainee Trader Analyst Programme.
Applications are open to university students at any stage of their studies, as well as recent graduates. We do not require a finance background. We are looking for analytical thinking, competitive drive and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the markets. Strong maths is essential.
The programme covers markets, instruments, risk management, trade mechanics, data analysis and the psychological disciplines that underpin consistent performance. Training is led by experienced traders on the floor. The pace is set by performance, not time.
All full-time positions at Positive Equity are paid salary roles with profit share and performance bonuses. Trainee Trader Analysts receive a base salary from day one. There is no ceiling on earnings for traders who consistently perform.
